問：這棟建筑為什么能發電呢？Q: How does the building generate electricity?

　　答：這棟建筑用薄膜太陽能電池取代墻面材料，我們剛剛看到的那棟建筑，去年一年發電量是1100萬度。如果按運營期25年計算的話，它產生的能量相當于節約11.7萬噸標煤產生的能量，這意味著這棟建筑能夠減排二氧化碳26.5萬噸。

　　A：Well, it's the thin-film solar cells that replace the traditional external-wall facing material. That building we just saw generated 11 million kilowatt hours over the past year.If that building keeps operating for 25 years, the power it generates is equivalent to 117,000 tonnes of standard coal, which means that building will reduce 265,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
